Kindergarten students at Riverview Elementary School have been busy learning about colors since the school year began. As a culminating activity, students and teachers will combine their lessons on colors with a lesson on healthy eating.

Students will visit Quality Foods IGA (730 East Wausau Avenue) on Friday, September 17, 2004, from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM and again from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM. Students will be given a tray of color and then shop the store to locate healthy snacks that match that color. Later, students, teachers, and Quality Foods staff will review the color-search items and hold a sampling party.
