Home to School Daily Folders

Following each school day, the students will bring home a Stettin Student folder containing various papers and information.  These folders are supplied by the PTO for every student to use as communication between the student, parent, teachers, and administration at Stettin. We sometimes have a need for a parent volunteer to help get flyers or information to the teacher’s mailboxes to stuff into the student’s folders.

Popcorn Poppers

Popcorn is usually popped for the students every other week. The popcorn is popped, bagged and delivered to the classrooms. The teachers distribute the popcorn to their students before they go home. This task is most effective with at least three people donating their time. The popcorn process takes 1-2 hours every other week.

Wish List

Having trouble finding a holiday gift, appreciation gift or a “just because” gift for that special teacher? PTO will be compiling a wish list of items specific to each teacher and department this year. Each teacher and/or department will be listed with ideas of some things they would like for their classrooms. Some of the items may be very specific and the cost may be listed. In the case of large or costly items, you may apply money toward an item by sending a check, made out to the PTO with the teacher’s name and item attached.  This should prevent duplication of items. We will get a wish list together and sent home before the holiday season and at the end of the school year. This project is currently being developed.
