All chaperones and
volunteers are required to complete a criminal background check
to ensure the safety of all of our students. If you are
interested in helping as a volunteer or chaperone in the Wausau
School District, please notify your child's teacher or contact the
school office at 715-261-0795 and request the appropriate forms. |

All guides welcome parents
who can help during the morning work time from 8:15 - 11:00.
Duties include reading with individual students, responding to
student's questions about their work, and helping students to stay
focused. No special training is required. The guides
will be happy to show you how to help students work with the materials.
Please contact your child's teacher if you would like to help. |

Maria's Kitchen

Do you like to cook? We
are always looking for parents who can help with the Maria's Kitchen
program. You can help by guiding a very small group of students through the
process of preparing a meal for their class. (Younger students often prepare a snack for their class
instead of a full meal.)
Most of our students have
done this before, and they look forward to working in our kitchen in
room 155. If you would like to help, please let your child's teacher
know. We will contact
specific parents for help when it is their child's turn to prepare a
meal. |

Family
VOLUNTEERS are always welcome at our school. If you have knowledge,
skills or talents you'd like to share, please let us know! Check in
at the main office when you arrive and pick up a volunteer badge.
