Parents have historically played a strong role in Grant School. The PTO and Mother's Club were established in 1921. The Grant School PTO remains an active organization in the Grant School community. The PTO supports Grant's parents, staff and students. This support takes the form of fundraising activities that result in purchases not funded through the school's budget. Digital cameras for student use, the fourth grade field trip to Madison, a laser printer and tickets for the entire school to attend the ballet are some of the PTO’s purchases during the past several years. Each year, the PTO holds a Spring Carnival and a Winter Sock Hop.

Each month, the PTO honors Grant School's Tuesday Ticket winners through a bulletin board which features the pictures of students identified as using model behavior in our formal and informal settings. Students also receive prizes provided by the PTO for earning Tuesday Tickets.

The Grant School PTO meets on the first Monday of every month from 6:30-7:30 PM in the teacher's lounge. All parents are welcome, free childcare is available. Come join us!
