 The Importance of Practice Work

Practice work is non-graded work that prepares students for success on graded projects.

Practice work exercises allow students to experiment with learning new concepts, vocabulary, skills, & techniques.

Practice work allows students to make mistakes and learn from these mistakes without the fear of their grade being impacted.

Art is a skill. Much like with everything else; the more you practice, the better you get.

Practice work will build confidence, ability, and repetition to improve student performance.
