The Business Services Department organizes and operates the financial business, and operational affairs of the District. This includes preparing, projecting, and managing the budget, systematic recording and monitoring of district accounting, providing payroll and insurance services for approximately 1300 employees, student transportation, food service management, property management, and maintaining safe and healthful facilities.

In addition, the Business Services Department prepares financial reports for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, Wisconsin Retirement System, Internal Revenue Service, and state and federal grants. The Department also oversees the annual district audit and prepares the Management’s Discussion and Analysis as part of the audit report.
