PARENT NETWORK/SITE COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
May 8th, 2012
Present: Cybil Siikarla, Jessi Voegtline, Tim Pagel, Jim Burgener
The Scholastic Buy One, Get One Free made $164.00 for our teachers. This
was earned by bonuses such as holding the book fair during an event and putting
out donation boxes.
The End of the Year Carnival will be held on Friday, June 1 from 1:00 P.M. - 3:15 P.M.
Fundraisers for next year were discussed. Based on feedback from Survey Monkey results it was decided that we would try a donation fundraiser in fall in place of Mr. Z's. Parents will be able to make a donation which will profit the school 100% as opposed to catalog sales. Read-a-Thon will be held next spring. Our last fundraiser will be a family event including a nature hike and plant sale in place of the meat sale.
We discussed having babysitters available at future P.T.O. meetings and Parent/Teacher Conferences.
The Brat Fry and will be held May 17-19 from 10:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M. at Ace Hardware in Weston.
