Hewitt-Texas Site Council

The purpose of the Hewitt-Texas Site Council is:

* Ensure effective communication among the publics that influence the school.

* Advise principal on decisions that impact the school, giving school officials a perspective on parent and community viewpoints.

* Be aware of the goals of the school community and support and promote action plans for goal attainment.

* Provide insight on issues parents would like more information on and assist the principal in obtaining educational speakers to address these needs.

Meetings will be held the second Tuesday of each month in conjuction with the PTO meeting from 5:30 P.M. - 7 P.M.
